A high-quality activated carbon block filter cartridge is used as the first stage of filtration in Quell filtration devices. It removes impurities, deposits, chlorine, parasites and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), reduces odor and improves the taste of water. Extends the life of the second stage of filtration.

We recommend its use for the filtration of municipal water or well water if it is sufficiently mechanically clean.
