The PP sediment filter cartridge is used as the first stage of filtration because it removes impurities, deposits, sludge, rust and particles larger than 5 microns, thus extending the life of the second stage of filtration.

We recommend using it if the inlet water is more dirty and the first stage filter becomes clogged faster.
